Whereas classic vinyl records are made through a subtractive process, these disks titled Evil Eye created by Belgian collective Indianen, are additive. Printed onto these 12 inch disks are patterns created using the software ‘Cocoa – Objective c’. When they and the record they are printed on pass over special light-sensing electronics, waveforms similar to those of an audio set are created. And I bet they look cool as hell spinning on the turntable.
