Fractals are all around us, as Mandelbrot would certainly say. A rather interesting and exciting represenntation of this is a project done by the Pratt student Melanie Hoff. Connecting cables to different points on a large plank of wood the artist then passed 15,000 volts of electricity through and into the material. A camera caught the process as it occurred.
