Full Moon Motorcycle

Easy to look at, but not available for driving around – the Full Moon Motorcycle from Akrapovič and Dreamachine Motorcycles is definitely worth the view. The name is a reference to the front aluminium and carbon 30 inch wheel, which is the main focus point of the concept, and at the same time the starting point for the masterpiece. The back side has an elegant surface, with smooth and curvy lines, culminating with a sharp, bee like rear. The concept for the Full Moon Motorcycle was developed exclusively as a means for promotional fair exhibit. Extravagant and modern looking, it was “designed to excite anyone that might not have been impressed by Akrapovič’s first prototype machine”, the 2011 Morsus. “The steering is completely automated”, so that any cables that might have visible are now unnecessary. Being designed with hydraulic suspensions it can stand by itself when parked. The engine is a S&S Knucklehead 1,524 cc with “two modified custom-made Akrapovič exhausts”. I wonder how would it feel like if you were allowed to take it out on the streets. My guess is: probably awesome.By Cristina Juc
