20 Finalists of the Architecture Photography Award Announced

The 2018 World Architectural Festival will be held in Amsterdam from November 28-30. With the festival being only over a month away, the excitement of architects and architecture buffs is almost palpable. As a part of the yearly awards program, the twenty finalists of the Architecture Photography award have been announced. This year, two additional categories—Mobile and Portfolio, were added to the four main categories: Exteriors, Interiors, Sense of Place, and Buildings in Use.

Entries for the competition came in from 47 countries. At the festival, visitors will vote for their favorite photograph, and the winner will be revealed at the WAF Gala. However, the voting for the Mobile Category will be open till 30th November. The awards are supported by the World Architecture Festival and PICSEL and sponsored by STO SE & Co and Dornbracht.

“I’ve had so much fun and so enjoyed looking at these images and soaking them in – some incredible work,” said architect James Timberlake and one of the judges for the Architecture Photography Award. Now, here are the shortlisted images per category:
