Vision Gran Turismo
Bugatti has revealed its new car – the Vision Gran Turismo. Do not be fooled by the high quality renderings as it is not a real car meant for the streets but a virtual concept for Play Station via Gran Turismo.
Unlike other concept cars though this one will actually be built and unveiled at the Frankfurt Auto Show at the end of this month. If you are wondering why, it is because the car is a tribute to the history of Bugatti racing in the 1920s and 1930s, as well as its victories in le mans 24 hour races and a vision that looks to the future. It has been inspired by the Bugatti type 57 g tank. However both the cars look as different as day and night apart from the blue colour. In spite of being built it will not be driven but will serve as a fanciful distraction as fans try to find clues of and anticipate the design of the new Bugatti to be released next year.
The virtual nature of the car did not deviate the attention of the designers from detail. The Vision Gran Turismo is a stylised mix of innovation, beauty and technology. The car has been designed to be functional, as revealed in its aerodynamic design. The top view of the car reveals intakes that the engine requires to cool off.
It embodies unmistakable characteristics of a Bugatti while also introducing new features. The result is grand as the car was being made for millions of fans and not elite customers of the brand.
