Städelschule Architecture Class in Frankfurt, Germany recently posted selected works from the past academic year. The thought process and representational strategies are promising.They all deal with noble ideas and represent them clearly but rigorously. The students deal with notions that go beyond building, dealing with architecture, space, and those intangible and indirect things that make a place.I was surprised to see the geometric and constructive rigor, and I was also surprised that none of the showcased work included notions that were less controlled. Perhaps it is of a general belief of a structured order in both architecture and context.
