Pak Loh in Hong Kong | LEAD

In the bustling district of Causeway Bay in Hong Kong, LEAD architects designed a renovation for a highly successful Pak Loh family restaurant. The project consisted of turning the front public entrance into a high-end VIP dining room and lounge.

A public versus private condition was taken advantage of to form a connection between the busy street and the private restaurant set deep inside the building.75 curvy, CNC milled bamboo fins are combined with parallel mirrors to widen the the narrow hallway and draw passerby’s inside.
