Naihan Li has created a fun series of furniture elements, proving the versatility of architecture. He recreated iconic pieces such as the New York Stock Exchange, the Pentagon or the UN Headquarter. I am a monument – CCTV” is a model of OMA’s CCTV Headquarters in Beijing, and is reinterpreted by Li as a wooden cabinet with multiple hidden storage areas. It was displayed at the Design Miami / 2014 Gallery All, a place where designers can present their own version of curiosities of the present. It was displayed at the Design Miami / 2014 Gallery All, a place where designers can present their own version of curiosities of the present. The cabinet it is a manifesto piece that speaks of modern China, and of people’s need to possess as many things as possible.
