What’s wrong with being rained on? Well, it does put a damper of sorts on the day if you’re just starting off. Yet, a wise but warlike race from Star Trek once asked if it were better to run from cover to cover, getting soaked all the while, or rather to walk with dignity and your head held high in spite of the rain? Well, if you’ve already arrived at your destination, it would be nice to find yourself at this new high-tech bus stop designed by Patrick Jouin for JCDecaux. Situated at the corner of Boulevard Henry IV and Place de la Bastille in Paris, it provides a shelter which is well (blue) lit at night and light filtering in day. Oh and there’s free wifi and a 72” high-def screen showing the historic sites of Paris. The screen I’m not sold on- if you’re consumed with images of distant sites, what of the corner of Boulevard Henry IV and Place de la Bastille?
