Hornucopian Dronepipe | MONAD Studio with Scott F. Hall

Hornucopian Dronepipe is a 3D printed wind instrument designed by MONAD studio in collaboration with Scott F. Hall. The dronepipe is one of the 5 instruments of the installation, which is actually called ‘MULTI’.MULTI is a bandshell framework that holds 5 instruments:
*2-string piezoelectric violin
*1-string poezoelectric monovioloncello
*1-string travel bass guitar
*hornucopian dronepipe (electroacoustic didgeridoo horn)
*small didgeridoo (still in progress).  Three performers play live the 5 instruments as well as the sonic wall, that serves as bandshell and instruments’ rack. The framework itself is also another instrument which produces a drone, sonic environment that highlights the radical design of these instruments. Project info:
