Architects and Engineers Guide to Drinks in AutoCAD

Created by Autodesk Technologist Shaan Hurley, CAD Drinks is an engineer’s and architects’ breakdown of how to make more than 70 different cocktails. The drawing has long roots back to the day of the pen plotters when it was a sample drawing for Calcomp in 1972. Yet, since this time the drawing has been immensely popular: Hurley has since released Whisky Drinks for Autocad and CAD Drinks for Engineers Here. The two schematics can be downloaded, opened and tweaked in any AutoCAD reader. And they’re astonishingly thorough. According to Hurley, “this is a classic to enjoy plotted, not stirred.”

What we like about both of these schematics is how well they demonstrate the density of information, which engineers make their living organizing and visualizing. The drawings show the breakdown of how to make more than 70 different cocktails. Drinks are color-coded, inventoried, organized and rendered in downloadable DWG for Autocad.
