University Info: Northumbria University, officially the University of Northumbria at Newcastle, is a university located in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East of England. A former polytechnic, it was established as one of the new universities in 1992.

Conditions:
All international applicants for whom English is not the native tongue must provide proof of competence in the English language.

Eligibility:
Only students who hold an offer for an Undergraduate program starting in September 2017 will be able to compete for one of these high-value scholarships.

Details:

Northumbria University is offering five scholarships for EU students to pursue a full-time undergraduate programme. Scholarships will cover all tuition fees during year 1 of student’s studies at Northumbria.

 The University will offer awards of £2,000 to students from EU member states who meet specific academic criteria and successfully enrol on a full-time Undergraduate programme at the University.  Further information on scholarship criteria will be published here in the coming weeks.  The scheme is only open to students who hold an offer for a Northumbria Undergraduate programme.  To obtain an offer students must ensure they apply by the UCAS deadline of 15th January 2017.  Further information on the UCAS application process can be found here and on the UCAS website.

This new award will give 5 EU Undergraduate students a scholarship covering all tuition fees during Year 1 of their studies at Northumbria.  Only students who hold an offer for an Undergraduate programme starting in September 2017 will be able to compete for one of these high-value scholarships.  Please ensure you apply through UCAS by 15th January 2017 to be eligible to enter.
